Some people are one bag and one cat away from being hoarders. Haven't they heard of spring cleaning? It's the time of year when you finally decide to throw out that 90s prom dress you've been hanging onto all these years. Let's face it, your high school years are never coming back and neither is that dress. So, pour yourself a glass of wine while you dig through those closets and thank your lucky stars someone isn't calling A&E to suggest you as a candidate on a future episode!
I love drinking wine while doing almost anything, including spring cleaning. It just makes the experience more enjoyable! I recently poured myself a glass of Ca'dei Mandorli Vino Spumante Rosato Brut from Piedmont, Italy to sip while I tear my house upside down! Most people are familiar with the red, sweet sparkling wine that is Brachetto, however this unique rosé style has the rose petal, strawberry and plum aromas you're used to, minus the sugar. Delish!
I chose Ca'dei Mandorli because of how much it reminds me of spring. The floral notes in the wine bring to memory flowers blossoming in the garden along with the fresh fruit I crave as the weather warms up. The wine is fresh like the smell of the outdoors coming in through the windows and I find myself singing like the birds outside as I rummage threw years worth of crap. Plus, Roses are a perfect transition from heavy winter reds to something that is lighter in style. Cheers to getting organized!
