Beef Jerky with Wine

"BEEF jerky, its what's for dinner"....or a late afternoon snack!  Pick up a bottle of 2007 Plungerhead Dry Creek Zinfandel and a bag of beef jerky and watch the magic happen.  This wine is the "big brother" to the familiar Lodi Zin that Plungerhead makes.  As big as this Zin is, it seems to have a rustic edge to it.  You'll find flavors of tobacco, leather, and spices that blend in nicely with all the brambly red fruit.  The spices found in both the food and wine compliment each other beautifully and the snack just screams for a hearty red wine.  So of course, I obey!
